TELECOMS NEWS.....

Welcome

PANASONIC are to launch their KX-NCP Network Communictaions Platform in September 2008.  The KX-NCP is a small business phone system that combines the latest VoIP technology with traditional PSTN, ISDN, Digital and Analogue products and services.

The Panasonic KXNCP System can connect to Analogue or ISDN Telephone Lines as well as using the latest SIP Trunk VoIP Telephone Lines.  The System will then provide a mix of analogue and digital extensions, together with proprietary VoIP Extensions and will also allow the use of other SIP devices which means this system can replace server based systems at the core and facilitate the use of existing VoIP Phones.

GSM Gateways have seen a surge of popularity due to the increase of Mobile Extension.  Many new phone systems include Mobile Extension capability that enable inbound calls to the PBX to be routed out on another line to a mobile phone and enable the remote user to answer the call as well as provide the capability of transferring that call back to other PBX extensions.

Normally this process would use a second ISDN line, which would mean high call charges to use the Mobile Extension Facility.  By using a suitable ISDN or VoIP GSM Gateway and a mobile Phone Plan that provides free calls between users on the same plan, these Mobile Extension Calls can be made free of charge.

GSM SAVE provide both ISDN and VoIP GSM Gateways for use with most Mobile Extension enabled phone systems.
